The supply plans from competitive suppliers selected by Low Cost Power do not have early termination fees.

You may be subject to an early termination fee if you begin receiving service from a supplier selected through Low Cost Power before fulfilling a pre-existing contract.

Yes. Although you will see your new supplier listed on your bill, your local utility company will continue to fully handle your account as usual. This includes meter readings, maintenance, and repairs.

You should call your local utility company if your power goes out or you have any other service issues. For your reference, you can locate the toll-free number for your local utility company on your monthly bill.

If you move to a new home within the same utility service area, you will likely be able to keep your current contract. Please contact us and we will help you navigate retaining services throughout your move.

No, we are your energy advisor. We compare the utility default supply rates to the rates available to us to see if we can find a better rate for our users. When you sign up and upload your energy bill, we see if a better competitive supply rate is available than what you currently pay. If your electric supply rate is better then the competitive rates available, we’ll continue to monitor the market and let you know when we’ve found a better rate.

If you switch to a new supply rate through us, one of our energy supply partners gets you as a new customer if they can make money while also saving you money. If both aren’t possible, your account will remain on the utility default rate. It’s that simple!

Low Cost Power uses your data billing information to see if we can help you find a better rate. We do not sell your data and we only share it with your permission. The only data we access is data associated with your utility bill and utility account.
